Dr. Colin Fredericks will be working in MIT’s TLL as a specialist in physics education for part of the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Collaboration. The project includes creation of a cross-discipline concept map, identification of foundational concepts across many courses, and the creation of supplementary resources to target those concepts outside and alongside those courses. In the past he has worked with the UMass Physics Education Research Group, assisting with teacher training and delving into statistical analysis of online homework systems.
